Required Qualifications

✔ Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Commerce (Accounting), or Business Administration (Accounting) from a recognized institution.
• Must hold a Certified Public Accountant (CPA-T) or Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) certification.
• Must be registered with the National Board of Accountants and Auditors (NBAA) as a Graduate Accountant (GA).

✔ Work Experience:

• At least one year of relevant work experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

✔ Financial Auditing & Internal Control:

• Assist in reviewing and enhancing the College’s internal control systems.
• Support in executing financial and operational audits, ensuring compliance with audit principles and policies.
• Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of accounting procedures and operational controls.

✔ Risk Management & Compliance:

• Monitor adherence to procurement plans, fiscal accountability measures, and operational procedures.
• Identify risks and suggest improvements to strengthen financial integrity.

✔ Reporting & Advisory:

• Conduct periodic financial and operational reviews, submitting reports to the Chief Internal Auditor and Provost.
• Offer guidance on the efficient management of finances and assets.
• Assist in preparing audit reports and committee meeting materials.

✔ Investigations & Special Assignments:

• Conduct financial investigations and report findings to the Chief Internal Auditor.
• Handle ad-hoc requests and special financial assessments as assigned.
