Key Responsibilities

1. Rollouts, Installations, and Commissioning

Develop an installation and maintenance structure aligned with sales clusters, ensuring effective supervision.
Maintain a detailed database of all installed equipment, including customer information and locations.
Oversee job ticket SLA compliance, ensuring efficient installations (3 hours), relocations (4 hours), and repairs (2 hours).
Design and manage territory route plans (PJP) and conduct daily team meetings via Zoom/Teams to enforce best practices.

2. Logistics and Project Management

Establish and enforce departmental processes for installation and maintenance.
Manage Capital Work in Progress (CWIP) to prevent equipment obsolescence in warehouses.
Implement a structured recovery and redeployment process for ODU/ONU devices.

3. Regulatory and Compliance Management

Ensure all installers have KYC Kits for customer onboarding and necessary installation tools.
Maintain proper documentation for regulatory compliance and audits.
Monitor leased routers and ensure recovery from non-compliant customers as per company policy.

4. Partner and Supply Chain Management

Ensure stock availability at warehouses and Airtel stores for seamless installations.
Collaborate with the Supply Chain Team to validate purchase requests for installation equipment.
Provide vendor support and ensure efficient service provider and installer management.
Optimize rollout, maintenance, and removal processes for ODU/ONUs and other technical equipment.
Oversee logistics for local and imported equipment deliveries.

5. Installer Team Management

Manage team compensation and incentive structures for efficiency and timely payouts.
Lead training and certification programs for installers.
Monitor and evaluate subcontractor performance, ensuring high-quality service standards.

Qualifications & Experience

Education:
- University degree in Telecom Engineering, Networks, Electrical, or a related technical field.
- Professional qualification in Project Management is a plus.
Experience:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a technical role within Telecom, DTH, or ISP industries.
- Strong understanding of market trends, competition, and regulatory landscape in the telecommunications sector.
Skills & Competencies:
- Knowledge of latest technologies and processes in related industries (e.g., Satellite TV, IT peripherals).
- Strong IT literacy and business acumen.
- Excellent team leadership and people management skills.
- Ability to drive performance, meet targets, and work under pressure.
- Strong analytical and commercial decision-making abilities.
- Experience in building and developing new business teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
