Arusha Institute of Technology (AIT) is seeking a dedicated and passionate ICT Teacher to join our dynamic team. If you have a strong background in Computer Science, Information Technology, and modern teaching methodologies, we encourage you to apply!

Who Are We Looking For?

We need a highly motivated and detail-oriented educator who:
✔️ Loves working with students and is committed to fostering a holistic learning environment.
✔️ Can develop, monitor, and evaluate lesson plans, schemes of work, lesson notes, and examinations.
✔️ Is responsible, hardworking, and willing to take on additional duties such as leading assemblies, guiding projects, and participating in institute committees.
✔️ Encourages students to strive for academic and moral excellence.

Qualifications & Experience

✔ Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in:

Computer Science
Information Technology
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science
(from an accredited university in East Africa).

✔ Teaching Qualification: Postgraduate Diploma in Education is an added advantage.

✔ Experience: Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at Advanced Level or College Institutions with outstanding performance.

✔ Skills & Competencies:

Qualified to teach Computer Science, Information and Computer Studies, and ICT up to College Level.
Proficient in modern teaching methods that support a competency-based learning approach.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
A well-rounded and ethical educator who upholds teaching standards.
A motivating and vibrant personality that inspires students.
Ability to adapt to institutional policies and work on weekends if required.
