Tanzania Agricultural Development Bank Limited (TADB) is a government-owned Development Finance Institution under the Ministry of Finance. Established to drive agricultural growth and economic development, TADB operates under the Companies Act of 2002 and is licensed in accordance with the Banking and Financial Institutions Act No. 5 of 2006 and the Banking and Financial Institutions (Development Finance) Regulations of 2012. Job Opportunity: Human Resource Officer II

Nature and Scope: TADB is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resource Officer to oversee essential HR functions. This role requires a solid understanding of HR principles, excellent communication skills, and strong organizational abilities. The ideal candidate will support HR operations, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and staff development, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate personnel records and manage HR data collection and analysis.
  • Oversee the staff performance appraisal process.
  • Handle employee relations, ensuring fair and consistent implementation of disciplinary and grievance policies.
  • Support recruitment by coordinating new employee documentation and onboarding processes.
  • Contribute to staff welfare initiatives that enhance employee well-being.
  • Assist in organizing training and staff development programs.
  • Prepare payroll documentation, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
  • Update staff records and manage the HR database.
  • Provide guidance on HR policies and ensure their proper implementation.
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Human Resources Management, Human Resources Planning and Management, Sociology, Industrial Relations, or Business Administration (with a specialization in HR Management) from a recognized institution.
