Daqing Oilfield Constructions Group Company Limited (DOCG) is seeking qualified and experienced Tanzanian professionals to join our team for the Marine Storage Terminal Project (MST) at Chongoleani, Tanga.

1. Position: HSE Officer (6 Posts)

1.1. Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
  • Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA are highly preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience in an HSE role within the construction or oil & gas industry.
  • Strong understanding of Tanzanian HSE regulations and international safety standards.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and training skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take proactive measures to enhance workplace safety.

1.2. Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and enforce HSE policies, procedures, and compliance regulations at the project site.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to both local and international safety standards.
  • Organize and deliver safety training and awareness programs for employees.
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards.
  • Maintain HSE documentation and generate reports for management.
  • Oversee emergency response plans and drills to ensure preparedness.

1.3. Employment Details

  • Contract Duration: Fixed-term contract for the entire construction phase of the project.
  • Employment Type: Full-time.
  • Work Location: Chongoleani Ward, Tanga City.

1.4. Accommodation & Facilities

  • DOCG will provide food and accommodation within temporary on-site facilities.
  • Selected candidates must reside in the company-provided accommodation.
