About the Role – HR Advisor
We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to support our new office in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. In this role, you will play a key part in developing and implementing HR policies, ensuring compliance with local labor laws, and fostering a positive work environment.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Provide HR support and guidance to employees and management.
- Develop and implement HR policies aligned with organizational goals.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training processes.
- Ensure compliance with Tanzanian labor laws and employment regulations.
- Support performance management and employee development initiatives.
- Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and workplace well-being.
- Handle payroll, benefits administration, and contract management.
- Assist in the establishment of VVOB’s HR operations in Tanzania.

Qualifications & Experience:
- A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in HR advisory, policy development, and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of Tanzanian labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
