The Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is one of the world leading humanitarian Organization NGO which is looking for a highly skilled French-speaking Head of Support Services to oversee operational management in Kibondo, Kigoma, Tanzania. This position is based on ensuring the efficiency of Finance, Administration, HR, Logistics and Procurement Operations in Kibondo, Kigoma Region Tanzania.

About the Role

As the Head of Support Services your job will be to you will be responsible for driving long-term strategic planning, operational leadership including financial oversight. In this position you will play a key role in ensuring Danish Refugee Council (DRC) programs goes along with global operational standards and policies.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• You will be required to provide strategic leadership and technical guidance tso that to ensure the operational support units.
• You will Oversee the development, implementation and management of the support operations.
• You will strengthen emergency response capabilities especially in procurement and transportation.
• You will manage risk assessment including mitigation strategies.
• You will supervise audits, enforce compliance and implement corrective measures especially in Finance, HR and Logistics.
• You will drive organizational development initiatives especially in procurement and financial accountability.
• You will ensure full compliance with Danish Refugee Council (DRC)  policies and national regulations.

What You Need to Succeed

Essential Requirements

• Candidate with relevant university degree in International Development, Economics with a focus on administration management.
• Candidate with minimum of seven years of working experience in operations management within an international humanitarian organisation NGO.
• Candidate with at least 4 years of working experience in people management with strong leadership skills.
• You have proven expertise in financial and operational management especially in conflict zones.
• Candidate with solid knowledge of procurement and tendering processes.
• Candidate with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Candidate with excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and motivate teams.
• You have experience in institutional fundraising.
• You are Fluent in English and French
