About the Role
Are you a creative and passionate graphic designer with a knack for storytelling? Plan International Tanzania is looking for a Graphics Designer & Communications Officer to bring innovative ideas to life through visual storytelling, branding, and multimedia content.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing creative designs for digital and print media, ensuring strong brand identity, and capturing high-quality photography for organizational campaigns. You will collaborate with multiple teams to translate concepts into compelling visuals that resonate with diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities
As a Graphics Designer & Communications Officer, you will:
✅ Create Engaging Visuals: Design creative content for websites, social media, presentations, newsletters, reports, and internal communications.
✅ Brand Identity & Marketing: Ensure brand consistency across all materials while developing fresh and impactful designs for campaigns.
✅ Photography & Multimedia Content: Capture high-quality images and visual assets to support communication strategies.
✅ Collaboration & Strategy: Work closely with cross-functional teams to brainstorm, plan, and execute engaging visual campaigns.
✅ Project Management: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met.
✅ Trend Research: Stay updated with the latest design, branding, and communication trends to enhance Plan International Tanzania’s outreach.
✅ Content Management: Organize and maintain internal databases for designs, photography, and multimedia files.

Who We’re Looking For
Required Skills & Qualifications
🎨 Education & Experience
✔ A degree in Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing, Media, or a related field.
✔ At least 3+ years of experience in graphic design, communications, or content creation.
✔ Proven expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects).
📸 Creative & Technical Skills
✔ Strong graphic design skills with a deep understanding of typography, color theory, and branding.
✔ Experience in photography and videography for social media, marketing, and corporate communications.
✔ Ability to develop visual storytelling that aligns with Plan International’s mission.
✔ Knowledge of social media trends and how to design content for maximum engagement.
