SUTAPRO is a registered mining company based in Tanzania that has specialized in exploration, extraction, processing and marketing of gold and other minerals. At SUTAPRO we are looking for Geologist II to join our team in Kahama Tanzania

Job Summary

As Geologist II at SUTAPRO you will be responsible for conducting geological surveys by analyzing geological data and maintaining databases.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• As sellected candidate you will be required to collaborate with the Site Manager so that to develop and implement effective work strategies.
• As sellected candidate you will be required to collect, process and analyze geological samples.
• As sellected candidate you will be required to plan and execute exploration programs while updating mineral reserve and resource models.
• As sellected candidate you will be required to oversee short term grade by planning and ensuring accuracy in stockpile management and raw material quality.
• As sellected candidate you will be required to work closely with the mining team so that to maintain a steady supply of materials.
• As sellected candidate you will be required to utilize mining software for resource estimation, site planning and operational scheduling.
• As sellected candidate you will be required to ensure proper mine site design.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor degree in Geology or related.
• Minimum of three (3) years of working experience preferably in mining industry.
