POSITION: General Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:

Overseeing all assets and activities based on the Union policies and regulations.
Providing leadership and vision by ensuring the provision of high-quality services.
Managing daily operations through subordinate departments and units.
Preparing work procedures for employees based on Board approvals
Preparing and submitting monthly financial statements and other required information from the Board at Nyanza Cooperative Union
Preparing and submitting annual accounts for approval and auditing.
Maintaining account records and stock warrants for members.
Handling secretarial duties and confirming contracts and agreements.
Translating cooperative development policy into action plans.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Cooperative Management, Economics, Public Administration, Agribusiness, Finance, or related
A Master’s Degree holder is an added advantage.
Minimum three (3) years of working experience with at least two (2) years in a managerial position.
