Mwananchi Communications Limited (MCL), a subsidiary of Nation Media Group (NMG), is Tanzania’s largest independent news network with an award-winning presence in both print and digital media. We publish Mwananchi, The Citizen, and Mwanaspoti, as well as digital platforms like Mwananchi Digital, Nation ePaper, and EGazeti. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Front-End Developer to join our dynamic team.

Position: Front-End Developer

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Develop & Maintain:

• Create user-friendly web interfaces using frameworks like React, Angular, Vue, or Next.js.
• Optimize and maintain existing code for performance, security, and scalability.

✅ Code Quality & Best Practices:

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Utilize Git for version control and follow Agile development methodologies.
• Implement responsive design techniques using Bootstrap for seamless mobile and desktop experiences.

✅ Collaboration & Innovation:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align project goals and deliverables.
• Provide insights to improve UI/UX design and user experience.
• Stay updated on the latest front-end development trends and technologies.

✅ UI/UX Implementation:

• Transform wireframes and prototypes into fully responsive web pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Ensure all applications meet usability and accessibility standards.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

📌 Education: Diploma in Computer Science or a related field.
📌 Experience: 2-3 years of hands-on experience in modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, Next.js).
📌 Advanced Skills: Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
