NMB Bank is looking for a talented Finance Analyst to join our team and support financial operations, reporting, and budget control. Job Purpose:

As a Finance Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, managing budgets, and supporting day-to-day financial activities. You will help maintain compliance with accounting standards, financial regulations, and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Financial Management & Compliance: Ensure all financial transactions, systems, and procedures comply with regulations and accounting standards.
✔ Reporting & Analysis: Handle financial reporting, taxation, insurance, credit control, accounts payable/receivable, inventory, cost control, and budgeting.
✔ Advisory Role: Provide financial insights and guidance on regulatory changes that may impact the bank.
✔ Budget Monitoring: Work closely with senior finance analysts to develop budgets, analyze financial reports, and track general ledger transactions.
✔ Cost Control: Review and monitor cost center budgets, prepare monthly reports, and engage cost center owners to ensure financial discipline.
✔ Invoice & Claim Processing: Ensure timely payment of invoices and staff claims while maintaining proper documentation for audits.
✔ Dispute Resolution: Address financial queries and complaints efficiently, ensuring prompt resolutions within agreed turnaround times.
✔ Suspense Account Management: Follow up on outstanding entries in suspense accounts to ensure timely clearance.
✔ Other Duties: Support additional finance-related tasks as assigned by your supervisor.

Required Knowledge & Skills:

🔹 Strong understanding of financial control, accounting, and banking procedures.
🔹 Proficiency in financial management, accounting software, and ERP systems.
🔹 Advanced computer skills (MS Excel, PowerPoint).
🔹 Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
🔹 Strong communication and customer-focused approach.
🔹 Ability to adapt to change and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Qualifications & Experience:

🎓 Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
📜 Certifications: CPA or ACCA certification is an added advantage.
📅 Experience: At least 1 year of experience in Financial Accounting.
