Job Overview

Resourceful Hub is looking for an experienced Filling Supervisor to oversee filling operations at a lubricant manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with filling machines and will be responsible for ensuring smooth production, maintaining quality standards, and enforcing safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

Supervision & Operations

• Oversee daily filling operations for lubricant products.
• Operate and troubleshoot automatic & semi-automatic filling machines when necessary.
• Monitor equipment performance, report breakdowns, and coordinate maintenance.
• Optimize production efficiency and minimize downtime.

Quality Control & Compliance

• Ensure accurate product filling according to standard weights and volumes.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet company and industry standards.
• Enforce compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and cleanliness in the filling area.

Team Management

• Supervise and coordinate the filling team, ensuring production targets are met.
• Train machine operators and production staff on safe machine handling.
• Monitor employee performance and address any operational challenges.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate records, including production logs, machine operations, and shift reports.
• Track raw material usage and ensure stock accuracy.
• Report daily production output and operational issues to the Production Manager.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on filling machines.
• Work closely with the maintenance team to schedule preventive maintenance.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and suggest corrective actions.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial/Production Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a lubricant or FMCG manufacturing plant.
• Hands-on experience with filling machines (automatic & manual) and production line operations.
• Strong understanding of lubricant packaging standards and industrial safety protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage machine breakdowns.
• Strong leadership skills to manage teams and coordinate shift operations.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in a lubricant blending & filling plant.
• Familiarity with PLC-based filling machines.
• Knowledge of ISO, GMP, and industrial safety compliance standards.
