Key Responsibilities
1. Achieving Sales Targets
- Drive all sales activities to maximize revenue and meet set sales objectives.
- Break down weekly and daily sales targets for the team and ensure clear communication.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate performance, making necessary adjustments to meet targets.
- Optimize sales processes for maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure execution of the route-to-market retail strategy.
- Grow sales volume by creating demand and expanding customer reach.
- Monitor and assess the quality of work by Field Sales Representatives (FSRs), providing feedback and corrective action as needed.
- Ensure full team deployment (feet on the street) and track field performance.
- Provide regular reports and insights to the Field Sales Manager.
2. Account & Distributor Management
- Work closely with distributors and sales partners to exceed growth targets.
- Ensure effective sales target tracking and control.
- Address and resolve customer concerns promptly.
- Stay updated on market trends and competitor activities to refine sales strategies.
- Ensure all team members align with client and company performance standards.
3. Operational Excellence
- Maintain Joint Business Plans (JBPs) and conduct quarterly business reviews to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with client account teams to meet sales objectives.
- Maintain an updated database of distributor contacts.
- Track and manage sales expenses and operational budgets.
- Oversee proper usage and maintenance of Smollan assets, including Handheld Terminal (HHT) devices.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and sales operational procedures.
- Conduct regular performance reviews (RAG assessments) for FSRs.
- Submit daily and weekly sales reports to the Field Sales Manager.
- Work with the customer service team to ensure timely order dispatch and delivery.
4. People Management & Team Development
- Communicate company goals and ensure team alignment with sales objectives.
- Monitor FSR performance, providing guidance and corrective actions when necessary.
- Allocate tasks efficiently and ensure FSRs meet key performance benchmarks.
- Provide ongoing training and coaching to enhance team effectiveness.
- Conduct weekly staff meetings to discuss performance, challenges, and updates.
- Manage team disciplinary procedures and resolve grievances in coordination with HR.
- Ensure FSRs adhere to work schedules and planned call cycles.
- Work closely with HR regarding staff payments, performance management, and career growth.
5. Self & Team Management
- Ensure accurate and timely communication of information across the team.
- Track and monitor FSR attendance, activities, and performance metrics.
- Uphold quality and productivity standards within the sales team.
- Adapt to market changes and adjust strategies as required.
- Balance personal and team objectives while aligning with broader organizational goals.

Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of sales experience in the FMCG industry, preferably as a Senior Sales Representative.
