Job Purpose

As a Farm Supervisor, you will oversee and coordinate farm activities to ensure optimal productivity, efficiency, and sustainability. You will be responsible for managing farm operations, training and mentoring staff, and driving continuous improvements in farming practices.

Key Responsibilities

✔ Farm Operations Management – Supervise and ensure timely execution of all farm activities, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency in cane production.
✔ Resource Allocation – Oversee the use of materials, equipment, and farm inputs to ensure optimal utilization and minimal wastage.
✔ Performance Monitoring – Conduct regular inspections, assess risks, and implement improvement strategies to enhance farm operations.
✔ Compliance & Reporting – Maintain daily farm activity records, monitor labor requirements, and ensure compliance with set agricultural standards.
✔ Team Leadership & Training – Mentor and train farm workers, ensuring they follow best practices in sugarcane farming.
✔ Contractor Supervision – Oversee service providers handling farm activities, ensuring they comply with company and industry standards.

Qualifications & Experience

✅ Education: Certificate in Agriculture, SASRI Senior Sugar Cane Certificate, or an equivalent qualification.
✅ Experience: At least 3 years of hands-on experience in sugarcane farming and agricultural operations.
✅ Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead teams effectively and manage resources efficiently.
✅ Tech-Savvy: Basic computer skills with proficiency in MS Office.
✅ Strong Communication: Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
