About the Role
We are currently looking for Executive Sous Chef to join our working environment in Zanzibar, Tanzania. As sellected candidate you will help in creating exceptional dining experiences by leading kitchen operations and maintaining high quality kitchen standards through fostering culture, creativity and excellence.
Responsibilities
- Support Kitchen Leadership: As sellected candidate you will be required to assist the Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations by ensuring seamless workflows and top tier food quality.
- Deliver Culinary Excellence: As sellected candidate you will be required to supervise food preparation and presentation to meet high standards of taste, consistency and visual appeal.
- Menu Development: As sellected candidate you will be required to collaborate with the Executive Chef so that to craft innovative menus featuring seasonal ingredients and guest preferences while ensuring cost efficiency.
- Team Mentorship: As sellected candidate at Riu Hotel you will be required to train and mentor kitchen staff by fostering a collaborative and motivated team that excels in performance and creativity.
- Operational Efficiency: As sellected candidate at Riu Hotel you will be required to ensure preparation and inventory management so that to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
- Quality Assurance: As sellected candidate you will be required to conduct routine checks so that to maintain compliance with food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards.
- Performance Monitoring: As sellected candidate you will be required to evaluate team performance by offering constructive feedback and supporting so that to ensure continuous improvement
