Simba Cement Tanzania was formerly known as Tanga Cement Company Limited which is a leading cement manufacturer in Tanzania with a production capacity of 1.25 million tonnes of Simba Cement. The company plays a significant role in the region’s infrastructure construction such as Roads and Buildings.
The company extracts its raw material such as limestone which is used in cement production directly from the plant site which ensures efficiency and quality. Over the years, The company has been expanding its operations by completing two major projects which involve installing a second cement mill and Packer III which aims at boosting production capacity while maintaining high-quality cement standards. The Cement produced at Simba Cement is certified with Certificate Number ISO 9001 and all products meet the Tanzania Cement Standard (TZS 721-1) which also aligns with both the East African Standard (EAS 18-1) and the European Standard (EN 197-1).
Simba Cement Factory is located in the Tanga region of Tanzania which is approximately 15 kilometers from the Tanga city center.
