Position: Procurement Officer (1 Post)
Role Purpose
As a Procurement Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the efficient execution of procurement processes. Your primary responsibility will be ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services, monitoring stock levels, and managing supplier relationships to support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Process Internal Purchase Requisitions (IPRs) and ensure timely approval of Local Purchase Orders (LPOs) and Framework Purchase Orders (FPOs).
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services as per agreed specifications.
- Monitor inventory levels, consumption trends, and re-order points to avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Oversee the proper disposal of printed waste, returns, and miscellaneous assets following approved procedures.
- Collaborate with different departments to ensure office utilities are available and used cost-effectively.
- Handle all insurance-related matters, including coverage adequacy, claim settlements, and record updates.
- Conduct annual supplier evaluations and provide feedback for performance improvements.
- Maintain strong supplier relationships and negotiate favorable terms for the organization.

Qualifications & Experience
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Procurement and Supplies from a recognized institution.
- Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role within a reputable organization.
- Professional Certification: Must be registered with the Procurement and Supplies Professionals and Technicians Board (PSPTB).
