Your Role as a Volunteer

Join us in making a difference! We are looking for a passionate and skilled English teacher to support VETA Dodoma in enhancing English language education for students and building the capacity of local teachers. This is an opportunity to contribute to education development, share your expertise, and create a lasting impact in Tanzania.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess Needs: Identify opportunities for improving English language instruction at VETA Dodoma.
Curriculum Development: Design and implement effective teaching strategies to enhance students’ English proficiency.
Capacity Building: Provide training and mentorship to local teachers, equipping them with innovative teaching methodologies.
Classroom Instruction: Teach English to students, fostering a dynamic and engaging learning environment.
Collaboration & Support: Work closely with VETA staff to strengthen language education programs.


What You Need to Succeed

Essential Requirements:

Advanced degree in Teaching English or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of teaching experience in English language instruction.

Preferred Background:

✔ Experience in mentoring, coaching, or cross-cultural training.
✔ Strong adaptability and willingness to immerse in a new cultural environment.
