Electrical and Instrumentation Draughtsman (1 Position)

Kilombero Sugar Company Limited is currently looking for an Electrical and Instrumentation Draughtsman to join their working team in Morogoro, Tanzania.  As a selected candidate, you will be required to manage, update and maintain electrical and instrumentation drawings for all factory and estate equipment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Preparing and providing electrical and instrumentation drawings for new installations promptly.
• Updating and recording modifications made for the site equipment in the corresponding drawings.
• Working closely with the operations and maintenance teams to ensure drawings are available when needed.
• Communicating effectively with maintenance personnel and planners to support maximum plant efficiency.
• Following maintenance best practices that go along with Illovo standards.
• Maintaining proper handling, storage and calibration of drawing tools
• Complying with Illovo safety standards and upholding the company’s core values.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or related field.
• Experience: At least two 2 years of working experience in industrial drawing, design and drafting.

Employment Terms

The selected candidate in this position will be offered a Permanent Contract.
