As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a reliable and professional Driver to join our Central Support Unit in Tanzania. This role involves safe and timely transportation of staff, goods, and documents while ensuring vehicle maintenance and adherence to company policies.

Key Responsibilities

✔ Ensure safe and timely delivery of goods, documents, and files as assigned.
✔ Maintain vehicle cleanliness and upkeep at all times.
✔ Accurately record mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities.
✔ Conduct daily vehicle checks (fuel, oil, water, tire pressure) and report any issues.
✔ Ensure vehicles are serviced on time and all required licenses are up to date.
✔ Provide transportation services for partners and staff within and outside Dar es Salaam.
✔ Pick up and drop off visitors and guests to/from the airport or other locations.
✔ Perform official and personal assignments for partners when required.
✔ Assist in other duties as assigned by the Performance Manager/Supervisor.

Qualifications & Experience

🎓 Education:
✔ Holder of a Form IV Certificate (Secondary School Education) with passes in Kiswahili and English.

🏅 Professional Certifications:
✔ Valid Driver’s License – Class C.
✔ Certificate of Competence in Driving from a recognized institution (e.g., VETA/NIT).
✔ Motorcycle license and riding experience is an added advantage.

🛠 Experience & Skills:
✔ Minimum 3 years of professional driving experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
✔ Clean driving record with minimal or no traffic violations or accidents.
✔ Good knowledge of traffic laws and transport regulations.
✔ Understanding of basic vehicle mechanics and ability to handle minor repairs.
✔ Familiarity with key locations such as offices, hotels, and restaurants in Dar es Salaam.
✔ Strong defensive driving skills and situational awareness on the road.
✔ Basic computer literacy.
✔ Good communication skills in Kiswahili and basic English.
