Customer Account & Order Management Specialist – TotalEnergies
About the Role
We are looking for a Customer Account & Order Management Specialist to join TotalEnergies, ensuring smooth order processing, customer account management, and compliance with company procedures. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Compliance & Safety (HSEQ)
✔ Ensure full compliance with TotalEnergies’ Golden Rules, HSE standards, and safety regulations.
✔ Maintain a high standard of health, safety, and environmental practices among employees, contractors, and customers.
2. Order Management
✔ Process fuel orders accurately and ensure timely execution and delivery in line with the D+2 procedure.
✔ Track and follow up on deliveries to ensure customer satisfaction.
✔ Prepare and send customer statements at the end of each month.
3. Customer Account Management
✔ Reconcile customer accounts when necessary to ensure accurate financial records.
✔ Monitor customer payments, ensuring all credit accounts remain within agreed terms.
✔ Facilitate the opening of new customer accounts, following company procedures.
✔ Handle reversals, debit/credit notes, and necessary account adjustments.
✔ Maintain accurate customer records, including orders, payments, statements, and communications.
4. Sales & Marketing Support
✔ Engage in marketing activities to boost sales and company profitability.
✔ Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and ensuring smooth operations.
Candidate Profile
Education & Experience
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Engineering.
✔ At least 2 years of work experience, preferably in the petroleum industry.
Skills & Competencies
✔ Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
✔ Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to handle multiple customer accounts efficiently.
✔ Effective communication and negotiation abilities to maintain strong customer relationships.
✔ Problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure smooth order processing.
