Job Overview

At Absa Group we are looking for a results driven Candidate to work as Customer Experience Executive to join our working team in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. In this position you will providing strong leadership by ensuring operational excellence through maintaining a customer focused approach

Key Duties and Responsibilities

1. Sales and Customer Engagement (20%)

  • You will Build and maintain strong relationships with customers so that to anticipate their needs.
  • Identifying sales opportunities and cross sell of relevant banking products.
  • You will be required to deliver exceptional customer service by handling inquiries.
  • Supporting marketing campaigns and community engagement initiatives.
  • You will Ensure the branch meets sales and service targets.
  • Managing account opening, loan processing and customer requests.

2. Customer Service Excellence (60%)

  • You will take ownership of customer queries and complaints so that to ensuring swift resolution.
  • Analyzing complaint trends and implementing proactive solutions.
  • You will be required to oversee service points by ensuring all customer touchpoints are functioning efficiently.
  • Directing customers so that to ensure appropriate service channels.
  • Collaborating with internal teams for the seamless customer support.

3. Business and Operations Management (10%)

  • You will maintain key performance statistics and track branch progress.
  • Overseing of daily operational tasks through ensuring you comply with banking standards.
  • Providing leadership support in the absence of the Branch Operations Manager.
  • You will be required to contribute to team development through sharing knowledge and best practices.

4. Risk and Compliance (10%)

  • You will need to Act as a crisis coordinator in case of major operational issues.
  • You will regularly review branch risk profiles by recommending  of necessary changes.
  • Staying updated of industry regulations so that to ensure compliance.
  • Completing all mandatory training by adhering to Absa policies.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Candidate with Bachelor degree with experience experience in banking, finance or business management
  • Candidate with proven experience in operations and people management
  • You have knowledge of banking policies, procedures and compliance requirements
  • Candidate with technical proficiency in banking support systems
