We are looking for a skilled Construction Engineer to join our team and contribute to a major Hydropower Project. If you have expertise in civil engineering, dam construction, and hydropower infrastructure, this is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic and professional team.
Position Overview
As a Construction Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the civil works involved in the hydropower project. You will ensure the project meets the required quality, safety, and regulatory standards while ensuring timely completion.
This role requires a highly experienced and detail-oriented professional with hands-on expertise in dam and hydropower construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and oversee all aspects of civil works at the hydropower construction site.
- Ensure project execution complies with design specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Manage and maintain construction records, daily reports, inspection logs, and as-built drawings.
- Oversee deep excavation, heavy foundation works, and heavy-duty concrete placement.
- Supervise reinforcement and structural steel erection, diversion works, and concrete gravity dam construction.
- Monitor the surge tank, penstock upstream sections, and overall hydropower infrastructure.
- Identify and address construction challenges, ensuring efficient project progress.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Proven experience in hydropower infrastructure construction, including surge tanks, penstocks, and concrete gravity dams.
- Strong understanding of run-of-the-river hydropower plants and related infrastructure.
- Expertise in deep excavation, heavy foundations, and large-scale concrete placement.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and project management software (preferred).
- Ability to work under pressure, independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications
- BSc in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Extensive experience in hydropower and dam construction projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to project execution.
