Key Job Purpose

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Commercial Manager to take charge of our sales performance, market promotions, and commercial strategies. In this role, you will lead the commercial agenda, ensuring sales volume and category targets are met while optimizing resources for maximum efficiency. You will also be responsible for managing local accounts, delivering exceptional customer service, and providing market intelligence reports on competitor movements and strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Performance Management

  • Drive and achieve all set sales targets and volume objectives.
  • Use data-driven insights to make strategic decisions that enhance sales performance.
  • Identify new business opportunities and collaborate with the Chief Commercial Officer for support.

Customer Management

  • Plan, organize, and execute core responsibilities, including sales, account management, and team coaching.
  • Monitor customer sales trends and implement corrective actions based on market insights.
  • Maintain historical data on customers and market trends to improve decision-making.

Resource & Data Management

  • Identify, allocate, and track resources to ensure optimal sales outcomes.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret market data to improve business strategies.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to provide actionable feedback and support business growth.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Economics, or a related field.
  • A Master’s degree in a relevant business discipline is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a commercial management role.
  • Strong leadership, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience in sales forecasting, brand strategy, and promotional planning.
  • Strong financial acumen with expertise in managing budgets and operational costs.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment while driving team performance.
  • Passionate about customer relationship management and staying ahead of market trends.
