About the Role

At Kafika House Tanzania we are looking for a Clinical Services Manager to join our working team and leading our healthcare services, driving innovation and ensuring top quality care for children. This role offers a unique opportunity so that to work with a passionate team and develop strategic surgical partnerships so as to advance clinical research.

As sellected  candidate and among of a company key member in the management team, you will be required to work closely with the CEO and Programmes Manager so that to uphold clinical excellence across our operations.

About Kafika House

Kafika House is an international organization NGO that is based in Arusha, Tanzania with a dedicated facility in Karatu District.  At Kafika House we work by providing a safe and supportive environment for children who are undergoing pre and post-operative care and rehabilitation for the treatable disabilities such as:

  • Cleft lip and palate
  • Clubfoot
  • Skeletal fluorosis
  • Burn scar contractures
  • Osteomyelitis

In this position we work under mission of ensuring that no child in Tanzania that lives with un treatable disabilities.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

1. Clinical Services Management

  • You will oversee high quality patient care by ensuring compliance with clinical guidelines and government regulations.
  • Providing expert support in patient admissions, discharges and therapeutic activities.
  • Developing and enforcing evidence based Standard Operating Procedures

2. Surgical Partnership Development

  • Building and maintaining strong collaborations with surgical partners.
  • Evaluating and ensuring  surgical partners that meet quality standards.
  • Conducting audits so that to maintain excellence in healthcare services.

3. Research ans Collaboration

  • Managing the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system so that to ensure accurate data tracking.
  • Leading strategic research projects that align with the organizations priorities.
  • Establishing partnerships with universities and institutions so that to facilitate clinical placements.
  • Supporting in recruitment and onboarding of clinical volunteers, interns and graduates.

4. Excellence in Patient Care

  • Ensuring holistic healthcare services for children with treatable disabilities.
  • Using data analysis so that to enhance the decision making and improvement in service delivery.

5. Leadership and Strategy

  • Providing expert clinical leadership within the management team.
  • Developing and managing the annual budget for clinical programs.
  • Fostering an organizational culture that aligns with Kafika House vision and mission.
  • Preparing reports for stakeholders, including government agencies, donors and clinical partners.

Whom are we Looking For

  • Education: Bachelor degree in Nursing, Medicine, Clinical Medicine, Public Health or a related, Master in Public Health or Health Management is added advantage.
  • Experience: At least Five years in clinical management, patient care coordination or partnership development.
  • Expertise: Strong knowledge of Tanzania healthcare system, compliance regulations and experience working with surgical.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with the Health Management Systems such as Salesforce, DHIS2, Care2x and AfyaPro is added advantage
  • Leadership and Communication: candidate with the ability to lead teams, manage budgets and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
