As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced and results-driven Business Line Manager to lead our Attachment Tools division within the mining segment.


Position: Business Line Manager – Attachment Tools (Mining Segment)

Reporting to: Vice President – Sales Area Africa, Sandvik Rock Processing Business Area

Job Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales performance, business development, and market expansion within the mining and quarrying sectors. As the primary sales owner, you will set sales targets, manage high-level mining clients, and implement strategic plans to increase market share.

Sandvik operates within a matrix structure, meaning this role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to align with both regional sales objectives and division-wide strategies.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic business plans to achieve sales targets and market expansion.
  • Lead and manage the Attachment Tools division, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the mining and quarrying industry.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product innovation and improvements.
  • Prepare and present performance reports, market insights, and growth strategies.
  • Actively participate in division and sales area management meetings.

Qualifications & Experience

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • Proven sales experience in the mining industry, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong strategic planning and business development skills.
  • Experience in managing stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • A results-driven mindset with the ability to make data-driven business decisions.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the region (valid passport and driver’s license required).
