Position: Business Development Manager
Key Responsibilities
1. Identifying and Developing New Business Opportunities
- Conduct market research to identify new business prospects and industry trends.
- Generate leads, initiate contact with potential clients, and build long-term business relationships.
- Explore new markets and industries to drive business expansion.
2. Market Research and Analysis
- Perform in-depth market analysis to understand industry trends, competitor strategies, and customer needs.
- Identify areas for business growth and recommend strategies to capitalize on market opportunities.
- Stay updated on industry developments and emerging trends.
3. Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
- Address and resolve client concerns efficiently to strengthen partnerships.
4. Strategic Planning and Execution
- Develop and implement business strategies aligned with company revenue and growth objectives.
- Work closely with marketing, sales, and operations teams to achieve business goals.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and key business terms to secure profitable deals.
5. Sales and Revenue Generation
- Drive the sales process from lead generation to deal closure.
- Identify key decision-makers and tailor solutions to meet their business needs.
- Consistently meet and exceed sales targets.
6. Collaboration and Networking
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of business development initiatives.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking forums to strengthen business presence.
7. Reporting and Performance Analysis
- Track and report business development progress, including leads, sales performance, and market opportunities.
- Prepare detailed reports with insights and recommendations for improving business strategies.

Skills & Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- A Master’s degree or MBA is an added advantage.
Experience:
- 8+ years of business development experience in the Edible Oil, Petroleum, or Gas industries, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Required Skills:
✔ Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).
✔ Excellent negotiation and presentation abilities.
✔ Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
✔ Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
✔ Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
✔ Deep understanding of market research techniques and industry trends.
