Job Overview

Sotta Mining Corporation Limited is seeking a dedicated and experienced Building Supervisor to oversee construction activities at our Nyanzaga Gold Project. The successful candidate will work closely with the Buildings and Infrastructure Manager to ensure projects are executed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry regulations and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Buildings and Infrastructure Manager in overseeing all site building projects from design to completion.
• Ensure strict compliance with site safety policies, procedures, and industry best practices.
• Monitor and enforce adherence to building processes and management from concept to completion.
• Coordinate with engineers to ensure design accuracy and compliance with local district regulations.
• Implement quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) measures throughout construction.
• Manage and oversee the construction phase of permanent building projects at the Nyanzaga Gold Project.
• Interpret and clarify contracts and technical details for construction contractors.
• Perform administrative duties, track project progress, monitor schedules, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications & Requirements

• A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering (Diploma, FTC, or Degree in Civil Engineering or Building).
• A valid driving license is required.

Experience & Skills

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in construction projects, preferably in the mining industry.
• Strong project management skills with an eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
