Job Opportunity: Compensation & Benefits Specialist

Job Purpose

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Compensation & Benefits Specialist to develop and implement effective employee remuneration and benefits strategies. The ideal candidate will play a key role in structuring competitive salary scales, rewards programs, and HR information systems to attract, retain, and motivate top talent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing offers, promotions, and business cases for allowances.
  • Support the Head of Compensation & Benefits in policy and program development.
  • Manage and maintain HR information systems, ensuring accurate data processing.
  • Develop and recommend competitive salary structures and benefits aligned with market trends.
  • Conduct annual salary scale reviews and market benchmarking.
  • Generate and maintain comprehensive human capital reports for stakeholders.
  • Analyze compensation trends and collaborate on strategic initiatives with senior leadership.
  • Foster relationships with business unit heads to address employee compensation concerns.
  • Enhance workplace relations by promoting engagement, morale, and productivity.
  • Provide expert guidance on remuneration policies and compliance.
  • Oversee annual remuneration processes, including bonuses and salary adjustments.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Psychology, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3–4 years in HR compensation and benefits across multiple markets.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong analytical, statistical, and qualitative abilities.
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and HRIS software.
    • In-depth knowledge of local and international labor laws.
    • Expertise in rewards and benefits programs.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
    • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
    • Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach.
    • Adaptability to high-pressure situations and ambiguity.

Additional Advantageous Qualifications

  • Professional membership in a remuneration body (e.g., Certified Global Remuneration Practitioner).
  • Proficiency in French (preferred but not required).
