Job Description

Are you a passionate and customer-focused hospitality professional with a talent for delivering exceptional service? Johari Rotana is looking for an Assistant Director of Front Office to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will assist the Director of Front Office / Front Office Manager in overseeing all front office operations, ensuring seamless guest experiences and top-tier service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with other departments, especially Housekeeping, to ensure smooth Front Office operations.
  • Foster a positive work environment by maintaining strong employee relations.
  • Assist with employee performance appraisals, consultations, and development.
  • Prepare essential reports, including performance analytics, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Support the strategic planning and budgeting process while providing valuable market insights.
  • Monitor departmental costs to ensure efficiency and alignment with the budget.
  • Ensure all guests receive prompt, professional, and personalized service.
  • Oversee room availability, room types, and accuracy in rate categories.
  • Conduct routine checks on billing and guest credit compliance with hotel policies.
  • Uphold safety, environmental, and health policies to protect guests and employees.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • A degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in the Front Office department within a hotel.
  • Strong command of written and spoken English.
  • Impeccable personal presentation and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of revenue maximization techniques and upselling strategies.
  • Proficiency in computer systems; knowledge of Opera is an advantage.
