Job Overview

As an Apprentice Revenue Analyst Support, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficiency of revenue management systems and flight scheduling. You will provide technical and operational support to the reservations system while optimizing revenue streams. This position requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to handling flight schedules, disruptions, and customer service operations.


Key Responsibilities

1. System Support & Distribution Management

✔ Serve as a help desk for the Crane System, ensuring quick resolution of system errors.
✔ Create and update seasonal and ad hoc network schedules for Precision Air and Code Share partners, ensuring accurate flight details (timing, aircraft type, cancellations, routing).
✔ Maintain system reference tables and inventory templates to ensure accurate flight loading for seamless reservations.
✔ Manage city pair connectivity, ensuring correct availability display across the Precision Air network and partner airlines.
✔ Oversee office profiles and user access for all Precision Air & GSA offices, ensuring smooth operations and communication.

2. Operational Revenue Assurance

✔ Process passenger booking requests, special service requests, and resolve system errors to maintain a high standard of customer service.
✔ Reconcile planned versus actual flight schedules and take action to optimize flight operations.
✔ Handle flight disruptions efficiently, advising Operations Control Center (OCC), sales, and operational teams on re-routing and reallocation options.
✔ Conduct flight inventory clean-up to minimize costs related to no-shows, overbookings, offloads, waitlists, and denied boardings.
✔ Work with TFE (Traffic Flow Efficiency) to flag underperforming flights and suggest upgrades, downgrades, or frequency adjustments for flights close to departure.
✔ Monitor pre- and post-departure activities at outstations and reconcile them with the Revenue Management System (RMS).
✔ Suspend no-show tickets and provide reports on post-departure uplift and no-show electronic coupons.

3. E-Ticketing Operations & Support

✔ Provide user support for Precision Air’s E-Ticketing system, ensuring seamless service delivery.
✔ Collaborate with other departments to ensure best practices in E-ticketing procedures.
✔ Detect and report fraudulent activities related to ticketing and reservations.
✔ Implement IATA-compliant E-ticketing strategies and educate users on industry-standard ticketing procedures.

4. Cost Reduction & Efficiency Enhancement

✔ Ensure post-departure flight closure is correctly executed.
✔ Verify that all tickets are boarded at all stations, including offline locations with manual boarding.
✔ Confirm that the correct sectors are uplifted to prevent revenue leakage.


Performance Indicators

Timely resolution of Crane System errors.
✔ Accurate flight schedule information displayed in the reservation system.
✔ Minimal discrepancies between planned and actual schedules.
✔ Efficient handling of disruptions with minimal revenue loss.
Optimization of GDS costs, reducing system abuse and unnecessary expenses.
✔ Achievement of revenue management targets, including Yield, RASK, Cabin Factor, and Total Revenue.

Required Qualifications & Experience

🎓 Education & Certification:
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in a related field.
IATA Certification (Preferred).

💼 Experience:
3+ years of relevant experience in airline revenue management, reservations, or operations.

✔ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
✔ Knowledge of the Crane System and airline reservation systems.
✔ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
