Serengeti Breweries Limited (SBL) was originally established in 1988 as Associated Breweries Limited before it changed its name its name to East African Breweries Limited (EABL) in 2002 . The company began commercial operations in 1996 with its first brewery in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.  In October 2010 East African Breweries Limited (EABL) changed its name again to Serengeti Breweries Limited (SBL) by expanding  its branches in Dar es Salaam, Mwanza and Moshi.

Serengeti Breweries Limited (SBL) stands by its own brand known as Serengeti Premium Lager including other brands such as Guinness and Pilsner. The company has headquarters  in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

About the Role

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• As sellected candidate you will be required to receive vendor invoices and conduct quality checks 
• As sellected candidate you will be required to identify exceptions and escalate issues related to to vendors
• As sellected candidate you will be required to categorize and apply the correct tax codes on invoices.
• As sellected candidate you will be required to scan and submit invoices that meet tax requirements
• As sellected candidate you will be required to Reconcile with the Invoice Processing Team so that to ensure all scanned invoices are properly posted
• As sellected candidate you will be required to maintain accurate records and audit trails so that to meet compliance and regulatory standards while embedding best practices in record management.
• As sellected candidate you will be required to print treasury instructions and obtain necessary signatures.
• As sellected candidate you will be required to process payment instructions for farmers and vendors
• As sellected candidate you will be required to resolve vendor related issues in collaboration with DBSI and Procurement teams.
• As sellected candidate you will be required to assist the Treasury team in managing vendor payment.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

✔ Bachelor Degree in relevant field
✔ Minimum of 5 years of working experience in customer facing service position.
✔ Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail
✔ Proficiency in SAP and other financial systems.
✔  knowledge of Diageo Global Processes such as STP and Data
