Job Overview
Kilombero Sugar Company Limited is looking for skilled Material Handling Equipment (MHE) Operators to join our team. The role involves operating Electric Aisle Masters and Electric Forklifts efficiently while ensuring minimal downtime, cost reduction, and strict adherence to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform pre-shift inspections on Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Keep MHE and charging areas clean and well-maintained throughout the shift.
- Record odometer readings at the start and end of each shift and ensure timely servicing.
- Safely recharge MHE and document fuel consumption.
- Collaborate with supervisors to determine daily workload and operational priorities.
- Load and unload transportation vehicles efficiently and safely.
- Reorganize inventory as required within the worksite.
- Assist with stacking and unstacking bins to optimize storage and workflow.
- Ensure your Forklift/Asset Driver’s License remains valid and up to date.
- Follow all safety, quality, and housekeeping standards, driving responsibly to prevent accidents and damage to products.

Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum Education: Ordinary Certificate of Secondary Education.
- Valid Forklift Driver’s License is mandatory.
- At least 1 year of experience operating MHE safely and efficiently.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to follow instructions.
- Basic English reading skills are required.
Employment Terms
Successful candidates will be hired on a permanent contract.
