The Aga Khan Education Service (AKES), Tanzania is a private, non-profit organization registered under the Companies Act. It operates two international curriculum schools in Dar es Salaam, offering a diverse range of programs, including:
- International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme – Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Diploma Programme (DP)
- Cambridge Lower Secondary Curriculum
- International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE)
- National Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA) curriculum for Form 1–4

We are looking for qualified, passionate, and experienced educators to join our dynamic team at Aga Khan Mzizima Secondary School, Dar es Salaam (International Section).
Available Positions:
- Mathematics & Science Teachers (IGCSE & IB DP experience required)
- French Teacher (IGCSE & IB curriculum experience required)
- Computer Science Teacher (IGCSE & IB curriculum experience required)
- English Language & Literature Teacher (also seeking Head of Department candidates) (IGCSE & IB DP experience required)
- Nursery School Teacher
Key Responsibilities:
- Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
- Design lessons that challenge and inspire students to reach their full potential.
- Track student progress and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
- Adapt teaching materials to meet the diverse needs and abilities of students.
- Utilize effective teaching methodologies to enhance learning outcomes.

Qualifications & Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 3–4 years of teaching experience in an international school setting (IGCSE & IB DP curriculum preferred).
- Strong expertise in curriculum design, implementation, and evaluation.
- Familiarity with 21st-century teaching strategies to enhance student performance.
- Proven ability to contribute to school improvement planning and self-evaluation.
