Media Council of Tanzania (MCT) is a institute that was brought up in 1997 in Tanzania focusing on strengthening media ethics in the country. Its establishment was based on comments and complaints that was raised by people against media in which it aimed at increasing awareness and controlling of bad acts against citizens that was as results of media or press in the country. Not only setting rules but also creating freedom to media so that to create a room of high professional standards
