Institute of Rural Development planning (IRDP) some times known as Mipango, is Education institution found in Dodoma, Tanzania. The instute was brought up basing on parliamentary Act of 1980s. The instute was brought up for the purpose of coordinating and creation of professionals in the field of planning which could directly create skilled man power that cold reduce shortage of labour hence reducing poverty in the country and leading to growth of infrastructure in the country. From its establishment, the institute has been recognised for the provision of most country expertise who have been positively working in the field of rural and urban planning hence development of cities and towns in Tanzania
