GGML is a subsidiary of AngloGold Ashanti which is globally known for its gold mining activities with headquarters in South Africa and operations in more than ten countries across four continents.
Geita Gold Mine Limited (GGML is strategically located in the shores of Lake Victoria Goldfields in the Northwestern of Tanzania which is approximately 85 km from Mwanza City and 20 km in the southeast of Lake Victoria. Geita Gold Mine Limited (GGML main office is located in Geita which is just 5 km west of the rapidly growing town of Geita and with an additional support office in Dar es Salaam.

From its establishment which was as result of the Tanzania Mining Act of 2017, Geita Gold Mine Limited (GGML) has invested capital of over TZS 30 billion in various community projects through working in collaboration with the local authorities.
