Geita Gold Mining Ltd (GGML) is Tanzania’s leading gold producer, operating a single mine in the Geita Region. As a subsidiary of AngloGold Ashanti, headquartered in Denver, USA, GGML plays a key role in Tanzania’s mining sector.

Located within the Lake Victoria Goldfields, our mine is 85 km from Mwanza City and 20 km from Lake Victoria. Our head office is in Geita, just 5 km west of the town, with an additional supporting office in Dar es Salaam.

GGML Graduate Trainee Program

Geita Gold Mining Ltd (GGML) has been a longstanding partner in Tanzania’s efforts to enhance graduate employability. Through internships and graduate programs, we are committed to providing practical work experience that complements academic knowledge and boosts career readiness.

This 12-month program is designed to equip unemployed graduates with hands-on industry experience, enhancing their chances of securing long-term employment.

Who Can Apply?

To qualify, applicants must meet the following criteria:

✔ Tanzanian citizen
✔ Age: Between 18 – 30 years
✔ Education: Completed a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA of 3.5
✔ Graduation Year: Between 2022 and 2024
