Position: Health Assistant II (30 Vacancies)

Qualifications:

To be eligible for this role, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Hold a Form IV or Form VI Certificate.
  • Possess a one-year Certificate in a health-related field from a recognized institution.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Health Assistant II, your duties will include:

  • Cleaning hospital wards, compounds, halls, and medical equipment.
  • Daily cleaning and disinfection of the mortuary.
  • Issuing bed sheets, blankets, and mattresses in the halls of residence.
  • Assisting patients with disabilities during bathing or using the toilet.
  • Ensuring compliance with environmental health regulations.
  • Preparing and submitting reports on environmental health activities.
  • Inspecting food, water, and chemicals within the hospital premises.
  • Conducting inspections and providing guidance on environmental management and vector control.
  • Performing other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Salary Scale:

  • PMGSS 1 (as per government salary structure).
