SAUT is currently seeking qualified candidates to fill 17 open positions across various academic and technical disciplines.


Available Positions & Requirements

1. Professor / Associate Professor

Sociology – 2 Positions

History – 2 Positions

Law – 2 Positions

Qualifications & Experience:

  • PhD in Sociology, History, or Law from an accredited university.
  • Master’s degree in the relevant field with a minimum GPA of 4.0.
  • Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field (First Class or Upper Second Class) with a GPA of 3.8 or above.
  • Strong research background with published works in the area of specialization.
  • Official promotion letter confirming appointment to Associate Professor/Professor rank.
  • Minimum 5 years of teaching, research, and publication experience.

2. Senior Lecturer / Lecturer

Sociology – 2 Positions

History – 2 Positions

Law – 2 Positions

Qualifications & Experience:

  • PhD in Sociology, History, or Law from an accredited university.
  • Master’s degree in the relevant field with a GPA of 4.0 or above.
  • Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field (First Class or Upper Second Class) with a GPA of 3.8 or above.
  • Proven research experience with published works in the area of specialization.
  • Official promotion letter confirming appointment to Senior Lecturer rank.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in teaching, research, and publications.

3. Education Foundations – Psychology & Counseling

(2 Positions Available)

Qualifications & Experience:

  • PhD or PhD Candidate in Education (Psychology Specialization) from an accredited institution.
  • Master’s degree in Education Management with a GPA of 4.0 or above.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education Management (First Class or Upper Second Class) with a GPA of 3.8 or above.
  • Extensive research experience and published works in the field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in teaching, research, and publications.

4. Education Foundations – Curriculum Development

(2 Positions Available)

Qualifications & Experience:

  • PhD or PhD Candidate in Education (Curriculum Development Specialization) from an accredited institution.
  • Master’s degree in Education Management with a GPA of 4.0 or above.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education Management (First Class or Upper Second Class) with a GPA of 3.8 or above.
  • Strong research background with published works in the area of specialization.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in teaching, research, and publications.

5. Radio & TV Technician – 1 Position

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Ordinary Certificate in Secondary Education.
  • Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Telecommunication from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.5 or above.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a radio or television setting.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain electronic equipment for radio and TV transmission.
  • Install, repair, and maintain audio/visual systems and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Install computer hardware and software, including operating systems and applications.
  • Set up, test, and maintain radio towers, antennas, cables, and other equipment.
  • Install and repair telephone equipment, including transmitters, receivers, and switching systems.
  • Maintain and repair electronic wires and cables used for broadcasting and telecommunication.

General Requirements for Academic Positions

All academic applicants must demonstrate the ability to:

  • Design, administer, and supervise student assessments.
  • Guide students in fieldwork, research, and special projects.
  • Evaluate coursework and provide timely feedback.
  • Conduct consultancy and community engagement activities.
  • Develop and deliver teaching materials, tutorials, and seminars.
  • Conduct independent research and contribute to knowledge development.
  • Supervise students at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
  • Mentor junior faculty members.

Employment Terms

  • Successful candidates will be employed on a three-year renewable contract.
  • Confirmation will be based on satisfactory performance during the first year of probation.

Remuneration

  • A competitive salary package will be offered based on qualifications and experience.
